SEO Principles 2013 eBook for Individual and Small Businesses

I recently launched my new eBook on Amazon called “SEO Principles 2013″. I wrote this book for individuals and small businesses that don’t have the time or resources to dedicate to having a fulltime SEO expert working on their site.

Over the past 9 years of optimizing sites for search engines, I’ve found consistent and proven  principles that haven’t changed regardless of updates and algorithm changes made by major search engines.

“SEO Principles 2013″ starts by taking you through SEO strategies, details how to build a keyword glossary, and explains each of the principles and what you need to do to make your pages ready for search engine crawlers. You will also learn what it takes to make your pages stand out in search results – ranking well is the first battle but you need people to click on your search result for it to be effective. Optimizing search results is an important tactic that is often overlooked.

“SEO Principles 2013″ is just $2.99 on Amazon. Download your copy today and start building your SEO strategy in no time at all.

$2.99 – either be free or charge $29,99.Anyway my question – all the reading I have done so far on SEO seems comes back to writing – content, meta tags, key word placement, links, back links – all, it seems to me, feed off , rely on ,article content.
And if you are not a writer, then you have to find a good writer ?
    Is this true ?

    cheers

    Hi Brendan,

The most important factor for SEO is the content. I’ve never found that you have to be a great writer, you just need to be able to produce good content that people want to read. SEO results aren’t filled with articles by the best writers on the web. It’s about being good at what you write about. Most of us wouldn’t consider ourselves to be good writers but over time we develop techniques that help us to better understand our readers and how to write for them, including the meta tags, integrating keywords, and link text. In fact, some of the best writers out there don’t understand these techniques. They write great articles but don’t rank well because they don’t understand the big picture.

As for the cost of the book, I think it’s a fair price for what the book contains. At $29.99 people would be expecting a much thicker and more in-depth look at SEO. SEO Principles 2013 was written as the CliffsNotes for SEO. It’s for individuals and small business owners who need a quick understanding and reference when writing web pages. This audience doesn’t want to know all the ins and outs of SEO. They want to know what they need to do and why so they can move on to all the other tasks on their list. I personally think that $4.99 would be a better price based on the content and time that went into the book but prices for SEO eBooks on Amazon are typically $2.99.
